When I started my engineering course in UCD, I joined an undenominated course, where you do s little bit of each type of engineering combined with the core subjects of maths and sciences.
In the second semester of first year, one of our modules (subjects) was a RoboRugby competition, where we built and programmed Lego robots in teams of 3 to compete against each other at the end of the year.
That’s when I found out that electronic circuits was my favourite area of engineering.
