      Chemotherapy is the use of drugs to reduce the size of tumours in the treatment of cancer.
      Typically, chemotherapy is delivered in a specialist clinic, which patients attend regularly for a course of therapy which may take from 2 to 4 hours.

      There have been many advances in the treatment of cancer in recent years and cancer detection and survivability continue to improve.
