• Question: How did you get the idea to build an Earthquake alarm?

      I was in the third semester of my college studies and they asked us to think about a final project where we apply all learnt in analogue electronics course.
      I got the idea from the church bell in the university. So if I had a cylinder made of a conductive material and in the centre a conductive spherical bead hanging from a metallic string, whenever an earthquake happens, the bead will touch the cylinder and close an open circuit that could turn a bell on.
