Of course I would love to go and appreciate the beauty of the universe from another perspective. I am a bit worried about getting the “moon-face”.

Sure, I would! It has to be an amazing experience! See the space and feeling no gravity!

I’d love to go on the ISS and have the opportunity to see the many experiments that the ISS crew are working on.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d be brave enough for the journey there and back.

The first job I ever wanted was to be an astronaut. I had no idea at the time that a lot of NASA’s astronauts were actually electrical or aeronautical engineers. Now that I have a better idea what it would actually be like in space, I’m not so sure I’d enjoy being on the ISS now – it seems very cramped! If I was offered the chance though, I suppose I couldn’t really turn it down.

Apart from actually being an astronaut, I’m really interested in space technology and space science. I’d love to work as an engineer on some kind of space-related project, and I still hope that might happen in the future. One of the most exciting areas is robotics is designing robots for space exploration.

Absolutely, but I think my mum and dad would have something to say about that! I used to seriously consider life as an astronaut but I was quite afraid of the impact it would have on my family. I read a book called “The Right Stuff” by Tom Wolfe, which talks all about the first people to travel in space. I would recommend it if you’re interested in learning more about the first astronauts – it sounds like a really tough job.

Despite this, if I was given the opportunity, I would struggle to say no. Imagine the Instagram posts!

never ever, at least based on current available technology … i think there are a lot of beautiful things here around us on the earth .. the ISS is not safe enough for non professional people ..
but i would love to go around the world .. meet people of different nationalities, and see beautiful cities, buildings , nature …..
