• Question: Do you speak any language apart from English?

      Not really! I wish I did – but in Scotland we are not required to learn any other languages for the entirety of our education. I learned French until I was 16, but am not very good at it now! Learning languages is really important though, and will open the world up to you and/or keep your brain working.

      Remember though – coding languages are also languages! I suppose I know some of them, but nothing fluently…

      My mother tong is Spanish and I also speak German

      Italian of course! I can understand Spanish and I speak a little of Hebrew!
      But I love to learn how to say “thanks” in every language… especially when I am traveling! I think is a polite way to integrate with the place and the people.
      I am having some difficulties though in memorizing “thanks” in Irish!!!

      I sometimes have a conversation in Irish, but that’s about it. I can string together a few phrases if I’m in Germany or France, but it’s a long time since I’ve had a full conversation in either of those.

      I can speak a small amount of French, but have not used it in conversation in a while, and some Irish, both from secondary school.
