Not really. I liked programming since I was a kid, but I didn’t realise I was going to become a teacher until I was finishing my PhD. I had already done some part-time teaching here in TU Dublin, which I really enjoyed, so when I saw a full-time position advertised I decided to apply. It was the best decision I ever made! I didn’t know what subjects I would be teaching when I applied, but it turned out that I got to teach some of my favourite things: programming, robotics, biomedical engineering, design.
