      I had architecture in UL and DIT as my top choices on my CAO form.
      DIT had an aptitude test as a requirement for the course, which I failed.
      UL needed a portfolio of work to be submitted to gain entry to their course. Mine want up to standard.
      At that point, I kind of realised that architecture was more artistic and less technical than I thought it was, and that I might enjoy engineering more.
      It’s a decision I haven’t regretted.
