The most powerful electronics I would have work on were the implanted defibrillators, for patients whose heart rate can go too high.

This results in their heart quivering, but not effectively pumping blood, known as tachycardia.
The implanted defibrillators can deliver up to 1800 volts, with an energy output of 80 joules per shock.

Patients who have experienced it compare it to being kicked in the chest by a horse.
Luckily, must patients are unconscious when it happens, due to the low blood pressure.
